For Sale: 1950 Cooper Streamliner

You don't need this. No one does. But man is it cool. They just don't make anything like this anymore. Super lightweight and powered by a Norton Motorcycle engine attached to a 4 speed, the car started life as a 1950 Cooper MKIV. So this isn't an original Cooper Streamliner. But it's as close as you will ever get.

It's unclear how this project started but back in the 1980's, some guy named Jack Mayers decided to build a copy of the famous Coopers that set records back in the 50's. Jack even tracked down John Copper himself who provided measurements and some original drawings that were used to make the molds for the car.

The chassis looks pretty well built and while not an original Streamliner it's still a Cooper racecar underneath.

And the molds are included too. That's the rare part. You could make copies! But it doesn't appear Jack never did and after racing it here in the US Historic Racing series he sold it to this guy in Australia who just put it up for sale. You have to love eBay. You don't need this but someone should buy it.
