Remember this BMW M Coupe and how it established itself as one of the elite race cars of its time? Yeah, neither do I.
As I was digging through old files on my hard-drive I came across what I still think is one of the cooler looking cars (street version or race version) that BMW built. A search for the history of this cars reveals little to nothing, which is sad.
But, on the other hand it’s really cool — this car was built by BMW Motorsport and appears to be thoroughly thought-out.
One could create a long list of parts in what appears to be “a no expense spared” set-up, but then you might ask yourself, “Why?”
What was the point of this car? Why did they do it?
While the real answer may exist in a folder in Munich somewhere, I guess I’m okay never knowing why. It’s just cool that it exists.
