Thirty of the fastest competitors (all GT3- spec vehicles) for the ADAC 24 Rennen took to the historic Nurburgring circuit to determine the top 30 grid positions. Drive quickly they did and in some cases, they flew as well.
Following the tragic accident at Flugplatz corner earlier this year, the stewards of the race have created speed limits over certain areas of the track to minimize the risks of a vehicle becoming airborne.
However there is still one location where cars can still be seen in flight (and with a greater margin of safety for all), the Pflantzgarten complex. Victory will depend not only on outright pace but also on reliability and strategy, and of course a bit of luck never hurts too.
